The assault caused the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a theft at Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

These detentions follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. Five people went to hospital for medical care and were later released.

Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several people hurt by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
